Consular days at the Croatian Cultural Society

    The Croatian Cultural Society of NZ regularly hosts Consular days by appointment at our Auckland clubrooms. These consular visits and appointments are managed by the Croatian Embassy based in Canberra, and upcoming dates will be listed on this page as they are confirmed.

    ETIAS PASSPORT SYSTEM

    Note that the ETIAS system will come into force from October 2026 and that all EU citizens will be expected to travel to the EU on their EU passport, so it might be good for anyone wanting to travel to the EU that is a Croatian citizen and does not have a valid passport to apply for a new passport. more information on the below links:

    Upcoming Consular Days

    The next consular days in Auckland are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6-8 November at the premises of the Croatian Cultural Society, 161 McLeod Road, Te Atatu South. 

    A consular day in Wellington will be held on Monday 9 November from 2pm, in the premises of the Croatian Cultural Society, 32 Hania St, Mt Victoria, Wellington. 

    Consular services will be provided by appointment only. Bookings are essential. Please be advised there are limited slots, so early booking might be essential. Bookings will be done on the first to apply basis.

    In order to book your appointment please provide information as per Consular services request form available to download from this wepage and send to
    crocons.auckland@mvep.hr no later than Tuesday 3 November 2026.

    For bookings in Auckland, please be advised that while preferred dates will be taken into account, it might not be possible to book an appointment at the preferred date due to prior booking of other applicants. Times available on Saturday and Sunday are from 10 am to 6 pm. For bookings on Friday, please be advised that the times available are also from 10 am to 6 pm, however, if there are not enough applicants for that day, timing might be shortened.

    For bookings in Wellington, they will start from 2 pm to 6 pm, however, if there are not enough applicants for that day, timing might be shortened.

    Keep in mind the consular officer will leave Canberra early on Thursday 05/11 and will not have access to email from Wednesday 04/07 afternoon and will not be able to reply.

    Consular services include:

    • Passport renewals, first time passport application (this supposes you do have a proof of Croatian citizenship already) and issuing of passports
    • Notary public affairs and verification of signatures (important – only with valid Croatian passport or ID card, verification of copies
    • Entries in the register of citizens and state registration (births, deaths, marriages) and the requests for the issuing of birth certificates / certificate of citizenship; name change (this supposes you do hold Croatian citizenship)
    • Citizenship - applications for citizenship, consultations
    • Other

    Fees for consular services need to be paid online or directly at an ANZ Bank branch. We are unable to accept cash. Payslips will be distributed on the spot upon service request.

    Konzularni dani u Novom Zelandu, održat će se u Aucklandu u petak, subotu i nedjelju 06. do 12.11.2026 u prostorijama Hrvatskog kulturnog društva, 161 McLeod Road, Te Atatu South, kao i u Wellington u ponedjeljak 09.11.2026. od 14 h

    Stranke će se primati isključivo uz prethodnu najavu u unaprijed dogovorenom terminu. Molimo imajte na umu da je broj mogućih termina ograničen, te da će se isti rezervirati na temelju vremena slanja registracije.

    Za rezervaciju termina ljubazno molimo dostaviti podatke sukladno priloženoj evidenciji traženih konzularnih usluga, najkasnije do utorka 03.11.2026.  

    Rezervacije termina za Auckland - stranke mogu u prijavi rezervacije navesti koji dan preferiraju, no treba imati na umu da se ta preferencija neće moći ispuniti ako je već popunjen termin za taj dan. Vezano za prijave za ponedjeljak, moguće je rezervirati termine u pravilu od 10-18 h, no ako ne bude dovoljan broj zainteresiranih osoba, trajanje se može skratiti.

    Rezevacije termina za Wellington – rezervacije počinju od 14 h do 18 h, no ako ne bude dovoljan broj zainteresiranih osoba, trajanje se može skratiti.

    Imajte na umu da konzularni djelatnik putuje iz Canberra u četvrtak rano ujutro, te da od srijede popodne nema pristup emailu i ne može odgovoriti na eventualne kasne prijave.

    Konzularni poslovi koji će se obavljati uključuju:

    • putovnice (produljenje putovnice, izrada prve putovnice uz uvjet posjedovanja hrvatskog državljanstva)
    • javnobilježnički poslovi – ovjere potpisa, (uz uvjet posjedovanja važeće hrvatske putovnice ili osobne iskaznice, ovjere kopija
    • poslovi matičarstva – upisi u knjige državljana i državne matice (rođenih, umrlih, vjenčanih) i zahtjevi za izdavanjem rodnih listova/domovnica i ostalih izvadaka iż matica, promjena imena uz uvjet hrvatskog državljanstva
    • poslovi vezani za pitanje državljanstva – zaprimanje zahtjeva za stjecanje ili utvrđivanje državljanstva, konzultacije
    • ostalo

    Uplate za konzularne pristojbe primaju se putem banke. Gotovinu nismo u mogućnosti primati. Uplatnice ćete dobiti na licu mjesta nakon zatražene usluge.
